Flora's Secret

Very Mary likes to hide stuff in her garden. You know, like concrete frogs and bleached turtle shells. Like that. Do you hide stuff in your gardens?

I posted about a "cactus rabbit" yesterday. Does that count? We have an orange hatted gnome that hides from place to place. You never know where it will turn up.

Yeah, I'd like to hide a chest of gold doubloons. Know where I could find one?

YES! I am constantly on the lookout for wee things to put in odd places. I even plant PLANTS underneath other plants for little surprises. I think gardens need to be a bit magical...

I once cleaned out my closet and found like eight pairs of black pumps and black flats that were defunct. I took them to my mother's house and tucked them, in pairs, sticking out of the hosta all over the yard. It was kind of wonderful. She also had a store dress mannequin in the bushes - torso in one place, legs upside down elsewhere.
