How does your garden grow?

The lawn is in trouble, but our sunflowers are loving the heat and reaching so tall to watch sun traverse the sky.

The 4 o'clocks laughed at us when we cleared an area in their midst for the veggies. No veggies grow and the 4 o'clocks have reclaimed the area.

Flowers such as marigolds and snapdragons planted years before still appear in the part of the garden given over to whatever chooses to grow there.

I have the same flowers, and more! I love flowers, especially the ones that you plant once, and they return every year!

The rose bushes we planted this year are doing great, but our hydrangea plants from last year haven't done well since we plannted them.

Not well,I have killed my new hydrangea, and the rose bush accidentally met the weed whacker...not a good season at the estate.

Inspiration hit! I love these beautiful perennials. If we lived closer I would be over with a shovel to 'help divide' them so I could bring some to my home. :P

My perennials are doing great but the annuals are not doing good with the heat. My veggie garden is doing pretty good.
