Mirror Mirror

Very Mary is a sucker for mirrors. All that light bouncing around and reflecting and opening up rooms and all that jazz. Yeah, Very Mary likes that. What she doesn't like? The hefty price tags on large mirrors because she simply won't pay those kinds of prices. But she will pay $10.00 at a junk store for this amazing old mirror:

It's nearly 4-feet long and 2-feet across with a faux gold-leaf finish. It's a beauty.

Mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the thriftiest one of all?

That's the buy of the week! I might just have to move to a location with better thrifting opportunities.

Deirdre - it is "officially" both eyes, but this photo is just one eye, so you're right on both accounts. As for being ridiculous? Well. So? Here's to a bit more of the ridiculous for all of us!

Very Mary, did you know you've been disappeared by Blogger? I'm talking about your profile photo, of course--not YOU you. Or your blog, for that matter. Just the photo in your profile and on the top of your blog. I think maybe you need to upload THIS photo from this post. I like it!

I am so jealous, Mary!

I'd even be more jealous if I hadn't been at the thrift store buying a $3.00 yummy green metal office organizer for my craft room! Wahoo! Hurray for thrifty finds!

Oh jealousy. I love mirrors and their bouncy light qualities, too.

Great pic :D
