Mostly Vacation with a Side of Work

Aaah, sweet summer! I admit it. This whole summer vacation thing? It makes up for all the cranky students and hours of paper grading during the other 9 months of the year. For serious. Because it's almost noon on Thursday and I'm still in my pajamas. And I'm working on this:

I am teaching, though only 2 classes, and those are rather flexible. I am doing some freelance work, though it's on my own schedule. I am remodeling/redecorating, though not as ardently as I could be. I am busy, though not so busy that I don't have time for an afternoon nap, every afternoon. Yeah. Being a teacher has its perks.

9 Very Merry Notes:

I am so very envious. I should have become a home ec teacher like I originally set out to be. I too would then be home this summer, instead I'm working and it's a bummer.

Yummy - love the quilt. Wish I was a teacher, but I only wish that when you have these wonderful breaks.

Enjo your summer my Friend.
